Many people want an easy, go-to coffee with a consistent flavour profile that’s available year-round. Our blends are designed with them in mind and we offer several to choose from. We’ve given each blend an identity and a personality. As a collection they tell the story of our commitment to community, the evolution of Bridgehead as a coffee leader, and the transformation of Ottawa from a lumber town to a vibrant city defined by culture and community. We’re proud of our city!

Centro House
Full Medium
This is our go-to house blend. “Centro” means centre or core in Spanish. The name points to Bridgehead as a hub of community, culture and trade. This name is a nod to our history as well as our connection to farmers in Latin America. The illustration is a snapshot of action at our Roastery coffeehouse. Centro House is an everyday classic with loads of caramel and cocoa flavour.

Bytown Boom
Dark
A name that celebrates the history of Ottawa and the city’s connection to the lumber boom, Bytown Boom also points to a new vision of Ottawa as a vibrant, entrepreneurial and confident capital city. Bytown Boom has a classic dark profile with a strong, smooth and robust character.

Bridgehead French Roast
Darkest
Steam technology transformed the lumber trade in Ottawa, bringing more efficient modes of trade and transport to the city. Still today Ottawa continues in the tradition of incubating new leaders in technology. French Roast evokes Ottawa’s custom of moving ahead with gusto. Full Steam is our darkest coffee and boasts a powerful, smoky roast character.

Logdriver
Espresso
The log driver is an iconic figure from Ottawa’s lumber era. Named after this confident daredevil, Logdriver Espresso recalls the hard work of moving lumber down the Ottawa River, as well as the art and skill of the trade. Logdriver Espresso is hardworking and nimble with a strong caramel and cocoa character that pairs well with milk.A name that celebrates the history of Ottawa and the city’s connection to the lumber boom, Bytown Boom also points to a new vision of Ottawa as a vibrant, entrepreneurial and confident capital city. Darn Tasty and Dark ‘n’ Tasty
Decaf
Decafs often get the shaft. Not so at Bridgehead where we want people to be proud about their choice of a “Darn Tasty” decaf – full of flavour and proud of it. Dark’n Tasty is the dark side of decaf with loads of smoky flavour and ample body. Both are naturally water-processed for caffeine-free delight.

Your log driver espresso is good, but I still prefer southern harvest and knowing where the blend comes from. I am not a fan of the packaging – the bag is not sealed, nor as air tight as previous bags. The branding with ottawa, confuses me.
