This is a special blend for us, bringing together Ramon Pablo whom we’ve worked with for over 7 years, with a new producer – Melvin Alonso. We worked with Melvin’s father Oscar for many years, and are excited to be able to work with a new member of his family. For Snow Day, Melvin is producing coffee from one of his father’s farms, Californeo in Marcala, Honduras.
We have worked with Ramon Pablo, for 7 years and he has consistently grown phenomenal coffee for us in Huehuetenango. We love the legacy of this partnership with Ramon as he is a leader in the community who shares his knowledge and passion for coffee with others. He also works to support the preservation of indigenous food crops in the region, giving back with farming whenever he can.
Generational farming is critical to the coffee growing community and we’re grateful to be able to work with families such as the Alonzo and Pablo families.
