COMSA produces many excellent coffees each year, and we visit every year to chose the coffees that will make it into the final blends we receive from them. This coffee was custom selected by our Head Roaster, Cliff Hansen, during his March 2018 visit.
We have been working with COMSA for 5 years, working very closely with their cupping team and various farmers to bring the very best coffees to Ottawa. COMSA is one of the most sophisticated agro-egolical farming organizations in the world. They have started their own recycling centre, they provide diplomas on agro-ecological/organic farming to respect and preserve the soil, and they invest in the future with a comprehensive school for the community.
