Sumatran coffee is highly sought after for its earthy and savoury flavours that can result in a potent and tasty cup, particularly in a Dark roast such as our offering for the 2013 harvest. Permata Gayo is a large organization of small producers in Aceh, Northern Sumatra that produces a wide range of coffees that all centre around these common elements. For 2013 we have sourced a more complex coffee with added sweetness and slight fruity elements that make it an excellent example of the capability of Sumatran producers to grow delightful coffee.
