This is a beautiful example of Ethiopian natural processed coffee, offering fresh and ripe aromas of strawberry, blueberry, tropical fruit and caramel. It is grown by the Adado cooperative in Yirgacheffe, a small area in south western Ethiopia famous for its wet processed coffees. Naturals are much more common in the drier region of Harrar to the east of Yirgacheffe, where the flavour profile is more of blueberry and pastry. I hope you enjoy this rare treat!
